CPC Europe Fund III Announces Vaasan & Vaasan Acquisition
Carson Private Capital Europe Fund III, LP, has announced its participation in the acquisition of 100% of Vaasan & Vaasan by Lion Capital (London), in a transaction valued at €425 million.
Vaasan & Vaasan is the leading producer and distributor of branded bakery products in the Nordic and the Baltic regions of northern Europe, led by a senior management team with average tenure of 18 years. The business posted 2006 net sales of €334 million and has an impressive track record of sales and EBITDA growth of 8.1% and 12.4% per annum over the last six years.
Vaasan & Vaasan is the first business acquisition for Carson Private Capital Europe Fund III.
