Carson Private Capital Closes CPC Yell SBS, LP
Carson Private Capital closed CPC Yell SBS, LP, an entity formed to provide Carson Private Capital core clients a direct investment opportunity in the $3 billion acquisition of Yell from British Telecom by Hicks Muse (Europe) and Apax Capital Partners.
CPC Yell SBS made a direct investment in the business, which has been renamed Yell Group, side-by-side with Carson Private Capital Fund V and Carson Private Capital Europe Fund I.
The Yell Group is the leading provider of classified advertising directories in the UK and through its Yellow Book USA subsidiary, is the largest independent classified directory provider in the U.S.
