CPC Fund V and CPC Europe Fund I Announce Acquisition of Yell from British Telecom
Carson Private Capital Fund V and Carson Private Capital Europe Fund I announced their participation in the $3 billion acquisition of Yell from British Telecom by Hicks Muse (Europe) and Apax Capital Partners.
The business, which has been renamed Yell Group, is the leading provider of classified advertising directories in the UK and through its Yellow Book USA subsidiary, is the largest independent classified directory provider in the U.S.
Yell Group represents Carson Private Capital Fund V's fourth portfolio company acquisition, and Carson Private Capital Europe Fund I's twelfth portfolio company acquisition.
