Carson Private Capital Announces Yell Group Partial Exit
Carson Private Capital Fund V, Carson Private Capital Europe Fund I and CPC Yell SBS announced the partial sale of their stakes in Yell Group through an institution only IPO on the London Exchange.
The three Carson Private Capital entities participated with Hicks Muse (Europe) and Apax Capital Partners in the 2001 acquisition of the Yellow Pages Division of British Telecom.
Yell Group is the leading provider of classified advertising directories in the UK and through its Yellow Book USA subsidiary, is the largest and most profitable independent classified directory provider in the United States.
