CPC Fund V Announces Choice Cable Refinancing

Choice Cable, a Carson Private Capital Fund V platform business, has been refinanced in a transaction closed by Hicks Muse that will return over 35% of the original equity investment made in 2005 to the equity partners, with no dilution.

The refinancing follows the Company's strong fiscal year financial performance and increased profitability, which is directly related to a number of initiatives implemented by management, including a realignment of the cost structure and shifting to a commission based sales approach.

Choice Cable delivers cable television and high-speed cable modem service to over 80,000 cable and 10,000 Internet subscribers in an area comprising approximately 305,000 contiguous homes throughout southern and western Puerto Rico, including the island's second and third largest cities.
