CPC Fund V Announces Swift & Company Acquisition
Carson Private Capital Fund V announced its participation in the $1.4 billion acquisition of the fresh meats division of ConAgra by Hicks Muse.
Following acquisition, the business was renamed Swift & Company, revitalizing the 100-year-old branded name. Swift is the second largest processor of fresh meat in the world with over $8.5 billion of annual revenues from three primary business units: Swift Beef, Swift Pork and Swift Australia.
Swift & Co. represents Carson Private Capital Fund V's fifth portfolio company acquisition.
