CPC Fund V Announces Persona Communications Exit
Carson Private Capital Fund V, LP announced the sale of Persona Communications to a subsidiary of Bragg Communications, a Canadian cable company, in an all cash transaction valued at C$775 million.
Carson Private Capital Fund V participated in the C$406 million public to private acquisition of Persona Communications, Canada's fifth largest cable operator, with HM Capital Partners in January 2004.
During ownership, HM Capital Partners, and a new strengthened management team, successfully transformed Persona into a well-managed and profitable enterprise through strategic acquisitions, accretive sales of non-core assets, operational excellence and organic growth.
The Persona sale represents the fourth full exit from Carson Private Capital Fund V.
